Gee & Co Ltd carried out sympathetic repairs to the external stonework of our Grade I Listed Church.
At a pre-meeting to discuss this & other possible future works it was apparent that Matthew Gee well understands the laws that govern how we need to manage & care for our building & the consequent need to use appropriate materials & workmanship to do so.
He did not disappoint, the work was carried out to a very high standard and in a manner which was sympathetic to the historic & architectural interests of the building. We will most certainly consider Gee & Co Ltd for any future historic building conservation works we require.

Gee & Co Ltd have undertaken a number of packages of masonry repairs at 'St Marys Church' in Axminster over the last few years.
The works have been very well executed.

My experience of working with Matthew Gee to repair a historic house was very positive. After the start of works a number of unexpected issues concealed within the fabric were discovered. These were openly discussed & repairs agreed which respected the original construction while using equivalent available materials.
Gee & Company's knowledge of lime mortars, historic joinery & building conservation in general is extensive & they would I am sure be well suited to take on the most challenging of historic building repairs.
