As skilled conservation practitioners with an in-depth understanding of vernacular materials and there application we are able to competently provide our advise from ‘hands on’ practical experience combined with theoretical conservation knowledge. We are proudly full members of the highly respected & regulated ‘Institute of Historic Building Conservation’ an organisation that promotes the highest standard of conservation practices and principles within the UK. Our aim is to implement a comprehensive service of all historical building conservation requirements that is understandable, sustainable and of a high quality workmanship. By being able to work from the early pre design stages, to producing all the necessary technical data and research, through to the project completion, insures there is no fragmentation between separate conservation disciplines. |

From an initial site meeting we can determine the clients intensions and access the buildings or structures general condition. Normally a project plan is produced to simply and systematically set out the next required stages and if listed building consent or planning permission is necessary.
They may include condition reports, material analysis, historic building reports, architectural drawings, structural reports and a detailed specification of works. Once the data is finalised and any required permissions are obtained the project can be scheduled and carried out by our experienced team of conservation practitioners.
